PADI DIVING COURSES
Penguin has partnered with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) since 1998 to provide our guests with professional courses and excursions that will allow any level scuba diver to explore the underwater world. Dive in Dahab means 480 square kilometers of fun in the sun, whether it’s calm and serene or rife with adventure and adrenaline. Please keep in mind that all of the diving courses described below necessitate the completion of a medical questionnaire, a Liability Release, and a Safe Diving Statement.

PADI Discover Scuba Dive Course
Participants scuba dive at a local dive site after a straightforward knowledge and skill development session.
Those who have completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience are eligible for credit toward the open water diver course.
Timeline: Half/day
Number of dives: two dives
Morning or Afternoon
Ages 10 and up
Open Water course
As for the The theoretical part includes 5 chapters and 5 videos as well. After each chapter their is a quiz and after you finish the course there is a final exam.
Duration: Four days
Number of dive: nine dives
Qualification: license to 18 meters’ depth
Pre-requisites: Age 10 and up

Advanced Open Water
The “Advanced Open Water Course” consists of 5 dives which are:
– Navigation, will enhance your compass navigation skills underwater
– Deep, you will learn how to plan your deep dive and you will be able to go deep up to 30m
– And you can choose another 3 dives from the list, like Drift, Naturalist, Multilevel, Night and Peak Performance Buoyancy ( highly recommended as it will enhance your buoyancy, position and trim underwater )
First day you dive in light house and the second day to canyon and blue hole
Duration: two days

Qualification: license to 30 meters’ depth

Open Water course
(Course Details)
The open water
It’s the first level in diving and after you finish you take a certification from PADI it’s international organization and the course has two parts : the practical part includes 9 dives divided into two section 5 dives are confined dives as they are training sessions where you go for 3 or 5 m to do training and skills and 4 dives as open water dives where you will reach the max depth for this level which is 18m.

Divers and non-divers alike are welcome to attend this one-day course. You will learn the fundamentals of providing basic life support until trained medical personnel arrive. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and treatment for electric shock, bleeding, and other potential injuries are covered in the curriculum.
This certification is accepted both in the diving world and in the workplace.

Course Details
The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you techniques to avoid and manage problems and improve your confidence as a diver. During the course you’ll become a better buddy by enhancing your ability to identify potential problems and by practicing dive emergency protocol.
